This is an in-person class designed for adult English language learners. Improve your reading level and English language knowledge with evidence-based strategies that build your reading skills.

The rich, jewel-like colors of manuscript illuminations can be dazzling—and dangerous.

Have you always wanted to learn to sew? Or would you like to give sewing a try without purchasing a machine? Or maybe it’s been a while and you just need a refresher. In this class you will learn the basics of using a sewing machine.

After-school hang out time for teens! Come enjoy some snacks, video games, and board games!

Bored after school?

Stop by our Teen Area for board and card game play or video game play in our gaming room.

Ages 8-11; 60 min. Registration required.

Take your creativity to the next level. Design and create a stencil with the Cricut machine, then use etching cream to transfer the design to a glass vase.  All materials provided. Adults 18+ only.  Registration required. 

Come enjoy an evening filled with fun crafts, great conversation, and music to spark your creativity.

Immerse yourself in the healing power of nature with our Mindful Outdoor Experience, a unique workshop designed to deepen your connection with the natural world through mindfulness, movement, and plant wisdom. 

This class an in-person class for intermediate English language learners who wish to improve their English reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. The class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

All ages. Allow 30 min.

The UnBook Reading Group

The English Conversation Class (ECC) provides opportunities for adult English language learners to practice speaking and listening skills, increase fluency, improve pronunciation skills, and build confidence to think and speak English in a relaxed

Is English your second (or third) language? Practice speaking and listening in a small group.

March 12: Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers by Jesse Q. Sutanto

This virtual class is for adult English language learners at the beginning to advanced levels. There will be separate sections for each level. Classes are on Monday and Wednesday from 7pm-9pm.

Prerequisite: Korean for Beginners (offered at the Miller Branch). Registration required. Ages 18+.
