Relax after school at Teen Spot - a space for middle and high school students to unwind with a variety of arts and crafts, activities, video games and board games. Meet other teens while having a free snack and hanging out at the library.

Looking to find a community of fellow readers, but intimidated by traditional book clubs? Put down your phone, pick up a book, and spend quality time with fellow book lovers – no homework or chit chat required!

Participate in some Random Crafts of Kindness! Learn about a craft, make one for yourself, and make some extras to give away to other community members.  

Learn about the process behind designing your own characters and using illustration software. Create the look of your character, its costumes, and props, and give it a unique personality!

Registration required. Grades 6-12. 

Dive into the world of special effects cosmetics! Learn about the chemicals that are found in the cosmetics used to create monsters and zombies in the movies, and then create your own design using DIY monster cosmetics.

Movie Magic: Green Screen and Video Editing

Students will create their own spaces using Planner 5D, a web-based program.  They will learn about creating mood boards, design concepts, and using Planner 5D to bring their ideas to life! 

Explore how music powerfully intersects art, culture, science, and creativity through fiction and nonfiction reads.  

Ages: 11 - 18. Watch anime together, make art/crafts, and explore Japanese language/cultural tie-ins at this meet up for fellow anime fans. Drop-ins encouraged and welcomed!
