A free opportunity to learn from renowned racial equity trainers offered by Howard County Library System.

This is a class for English language learners.

Join other adults who knit, crochet, embroider, and sew, in an open forum for creating, conversing, sharing, and learning. 

This class is designed for adult English language learners. Practice speaking skills in a supportive environment. Students read one short story each week and discuss it in class.

Improve your ability to communicate and interact in German in a fun and casual setting.

Participants learn the advantages and challenges of homeownership, the importance of budgeting and how credit plays a role, reasons for a mortgage denial and how to overcome them, and the role of your homebuying team.  

Teen Time at HCLS East Columbia Branch is an initiative for neighborhood teens that enhances student academics in a fun, welcoming, after-school environment.

A  hang out for teens to connect, play games and create.

Drop-in to use the equipment in the A/V Studio! Record and mix music or create and edit movies with the help of a HiTech Instructor.
No registration required. Grades 6-12.

Assigned a History Day project? Not sure about a topic? Join us for a workshop that delves into a wide selection of topics that fit the theme of Frontiers in History: People, Places, Ideas, through multiple lenses.

In collaboration with Columbia Association, Howard County Library System's Miller Branch will host a monthly World Languages Café, beginning in September on the 2nd Thursday evening, from 7 - 8:45 pm.
