Event Details

Ages 11-18, allow 30 min. 

Join an exploratory papermaking workshop to learn the basics of crafting homemade paper.   

  • Monday: Learn the Basics 

  • Tuesday: Spice it Up with color and other additives 

  • Wednesday: Use molds and found objects to create paper shapes (*flour & salt added to paper pulp to make shapes)

  • Thursday: Use your new trash-to-treasure paper creations to create a simple journal 

Wear clothing that is acceptable to get messy.  Parts of workshop may be held outdoors, weather permitting. Paper created in any session will need to dry completely at home.  Attendance at all sessions is encouraged but is optional.
