Workshop #2 (July 26) THEME: Pulling Possibilities

Question: What do you see? The PROCESS is sometimes more important than the PRODUCT!

All ways of seeing are valid….

Directive: Bravely use the paint to explore movement, color and marks. From the messiness comes imagery and form. What you see others don’t see. What others see might inform you.

Materials: Mono print paint, plexiglass plates, various papers, water cups. Pull prints from puddles of paint

Outcome of the Workshop: Clothesline with mono prints and inkblots clipped on line for participants to view, SEE and perceive together. From the chaos comes imagery…

Pull new Possibilities- Lay papers over the puddles of paint, make marks and take action! PULL new imagery from the marks to explore different ways of seeing, experiencing…WHAT do YOU SEE?

All images are welcome.

The work of mono prints involves trusting that you will find imagery, see forms emerging to reveal truths. Like the messy process of trying to find community solutions…having difficult conversations about these issues, comes new forms.

Closure: Facilitate a circle discussion of new ways of seeing
