Did you know that in 1992, Mae Jemison made history as the first Black female astronaut? She is also an engineer, a physician, a professor, and an entrepreneur! Join us to learn about the diverse scientists, technologists, engineers, and mathematicians who have made great strides in STEM fields throughout history and today. Explore their important experiments, feats of construction, and ingenious inventions with hands-on activities while learning about their incredible lives. Grades 6-12. Registration required. Taught by a HiTech instructor.
