In this series presented in partnership with SOBAR, we learn to make delicious non-alcoholic beverages like a professional!
In the Simply Syrups session, we learn how to make a syrup as we create three that can be used in several drinks: one herb-infused, a versatile bitter citrus syrup, and a fabulous Butterfly Pea Tree Flower syrup for lemonade.
A supply list will be provided in advance of the class, or you may opt to purchase a bar kit from Sobar. No purchase is required to participate in the class. You will need: fresh herb of your choice, two pieces of citrus fruit, vegetable peeler, serrated knife or grater, cutting board, sugar, agave or honey, organic Butterfly Tree Flowers (optional).
Mixology Magic: A series of mixology courses presented virtually by Sobar at 7 pm on:
- September 13: Simply Syrups
- October 11: Garnish for Greatness
- November 8: Fall Flavors
Register for each course separately.
Two participants will randomly be selected to receive a special kit from SOBAR! This drawing is sponsored by Friends and Foundation of Howard County Library System.
