Are you a beginning gardener and interested in planting your garden from seed? This session is for you!

The Nourishing Gardens team from the Community Ecology Institute will walk you through the best crops for each season, starting seeds indoors and outdoors, seed starting soil mixes, helpful seed starting tips, and low-cost seed starting supplies. You'll leave not only knowing how to start your garden from seed, but you'll get tips on organizing your seed starting supplies, and be ready to start those long growing crops (like peppers) right when you get home!

Our Nourishing Gardens team will also be available after the session to answer any of your additional garden-related questions!

To help you get started with seeds, you may be interested in joining us on Saturday, January 21 from 2 - 4 pm for Howard County Seed Share at our Miller Branch.  Learn more and register here.

In partnership with the Community Ecology Institute, Nourishing Gardens team.
