What does it mean to electrify Howard County? Why is electrification important? What can be done at the county and state levels, and what actions can we take in our own homes? Join us to learn why electrifying new construction in Howard County is a key strategy in the fight against climate change, and how we can all contribute to this important shift.
Speaker:
Doug Siglin, retired federal agency program director and former Vice President/Executive Director for several national and regional environmental and social justice organizations. Doug is a successful advocate for electrification bills in Washington, DC (2022), Montgomery County (2022), and Howard County (2023).
