During the last few decades, you may have felt confusion and frustration seeing nutrition advice vary widely among professionals and organizations concerned with the foods we eat.  Certified Nutrition Specialist Courtney Carpenter will present an historical overview of nutrition during the 20th Century followed by an encapsulation of current understanding.  Practical advice will be woven into an update of our understanding of calories, antioxidants and inflammation, as well as carbohydrate quality and nutrient density.
