Event Details

Genetics will introduce students to the basics of Mendelian Genetics. Topics, such as inheritance patterns, genetic diversity, and genetic diseases will be explored using laws derived from Gregor Mendel’s experiments. Punnett Squares, genetics crosses, and pedigrees will help demonstrate the role and function alleles serve in genetic inheritance from one generation to the next.
