Event Details

The Gathering, a new monthly salon series hosted at the Equity Resource Center & Collection, is inspired by the spirit of the Harlem Renaissance and 1860's Paris. Each month, community members come together to share conversation, creativity, and joy around the work of equity. With rotating co-hosts and themes, no two evenings are alike—expect poetry readings, music, storytelling, and space to reflect, connect, and be reenergized in the work of building a more just and equitable world.

 AJ Ali, CEO of L.O.V.E. Is The Answer, co-hosts this month’s Gathering on the theme What’s Love Got to Do With It. Through poetry, art, and music, we’ll explore love as a grounding force and a catalyst for belonging and connection.
