Don’t just speculate. Design it.

This four-part seminar, held in-person at HCLS Miller Branch, will give you the tools you need to cut through ambiguity and move forward with confidence. Vance MacEwen, co-founder of Greatest Possible Good, will teach interactive workshops taking you through the design thinking process.

You’re not just taking another class; thanks to a generous grant from Howard County, you will have free access to your instructors’ calendars while taking this course. Apply what you learn in real-time.

In this series you will:

  • Learn what design thinking is and how you can use it to build what your customers actually want, not just what you think they want
  • Practice customer interviews, collaborative research synthesis, rapid prototyping, and user testing in a fun, low-stakes way before carrying it out for your own venture
  • Check in with your instructor with free one-on-ones as you apply your new tools
  • When you are done with the program, you will have a powerful new toolkit setting you apart from your competition and giving you a greater measure of certainty.

Please note it is highly encouraged to attend all four sessions, as they go through the design thinking process in a sequence.

Facilitator: Vance MacEwen, MA, MBA - Entrepreneur in Residence at the Maryland Innovation Center (MIC) and co-founder CEO of Greatest Possible Good, a design thinking firm for social good.

Presented in partnership byThe Maryland Innovation Center and Howard County Public Library System, free of charge to the community.
