Don’t end up like Christopher McCandless from Into the Wild; learn how to responsibly and safely forage! Join Kiah Gibian, lifelong forager, and founder of Our Time Community Kitchen in Baltimore.

Explore the historical background of foraging, methods relevant to the mid-Atlantic microclimate for plant identification, where to look for edible plants, how to harvest them, and how to process those foraged materials for consumption.  Free, blank journals can be picked up at Savage Branch and Central Branch prior to the class, while supplies last.
