Step into the fun and active world of Adult Beyond Words, an inclusive monthly class designed to spark joy and ignite the imagination of people (ages 18+) with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.

Ticket required. Tickets available 15 minutes before class.

Ages 3-5 with adult; 30 min.

Fun stories, songs, and activities for preschoolers that spark curiosity and support learning. 

Ages 2-3 years with adult; 30 min. Ticket required.

Preschoolers develop skills for talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing through stories, songs, fingerplays, and rhymes. 

Ages 3-5 with adult; 30 min.

Experience dynamic principles of water through fun hands-on experimentation.

Engineer an EGGcellent egg protector and we'll test your creation by dropping it from on high. Dress for mess and the outdoors as weather permits. Contact with raw eggs likely.

Learn how the digital single lens reflex camera is engineered to utilize part of the electromagnetic spectrum we call visible light. Obtain hands on experience using a DSLR camera and learn numerous picture-taking techniques.

Build your own fort out of newspaper!

Ages 6-9.  45 minutes.  Ticket required. Tickets available 15 minutes before class.

Listen to a story, learn about tangrams, solve tangram puzzle challenges, and create you own set of tangrams to continue the fun at home!

Do you love all things geology?  Travel through the rock cycle in a game, excavate a one-of-a-kind gem, and learn something new about rocks, minerals, and gemstones!

3rd-5th grade. 45 min. Ticket required.  Ho Co Schools are closed.

Math can be fun! Develop problem-solving skills and strategies as we explore financial literacy topics.

Ages 8-10. 45 minutes. Ticket available 15 minutes before class.

Create your own video game inspired 2-D pictures in this pixel art challenge. 

Join a chemist from the American Chemical Society for a hands-on program on the chemistry of glaciers. Program is appropriate for ages 7 and up (grades 2-12). Students aged 7-8 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration required.

Develop math, reading, critical thinking and social skills by playing friendly Magic: the Gathering™ card battles in this ongoing monthly gaming club.

Ages 8-11. 45-60 min. Ticket required. 

Create any flowers you can imagine using 3D Printing Pens. Dress for mess.

Join Jack and Annie on a daring mission to the Galapagos Islands.  Learn about tortoises and volcanoes, and participate in related activities.  Ages 6-10, 45 minutes.  Ticketed.

AV Lab
Get to use the equipment in the A/V Studio! Record and mix music or create and edit movies with the help of a HiTech Instructor.  Register online!
 

Ages 10 - 13. Registration required. 

7-11 years ; 60 min. Ticket required.

Who can build the tallest tower, catapult their egg the farthest, or send an egg down a zip line the fastest? Work together to complete these fun STEM challenges with plastic eggs.

Use the design software and equipment in the Audio-Visual Lab for all of your creative projects. Writers, filmmakers, photographers, musicians, and creators of all kinds invited!

Learn about Artificial Intelligence (AI), how to utilize AI, and how to make use of AI websites. 

All ages. Children 8 and under with their adult. No free ticket required.

Create and build with Magformers, Rigamajig Junior and Mega Bloks. Challenges and free play.

Work together in small groups investigating hands on STEAM activities.

New to sewing? Want to learn how? No fear, we're all beginners here. Come join us to learn the basics of how to operate a sewing machine, and create a take-home bowl cozy. 

ages 7-12. 45 minutes. Ticket required. 

Explore and learn about ocean animals from Sharks to Turtle to Crabs. Take part in excavating a sea creature from a seashell dig brick.
