Learn from Master Gardeners about why it’s desirable to have worms living in your house – in an indoor worm bin! Worms can help reduce waste while transforming your kitchen scraps into a rich soil amendment for your garden and container plants.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month! 

Do you have stories inside just begging to be told? Do lots of great ideas fill your imagination? Is there something you want to say but you don’t know where to begin?  Then this class is for you.

This is an in-person class for English language learners. It focuses on essential English grammar and on the basics of writing for work and personal communication. The class meets every Monday night at the Central Branch.

Meet up with fellow anime and manga fans to practice drawing your favorite characters (or create your own!), recommend the manga you're reading and the anime you're watching and check out our collection/make suggestions for it.

In this class participants will have the opportunity to create an original linocut. They'll learn carving techniques for printmaking, how to color separate their artwork, and how to hand press their own prints.
