Your Vote Matters!

Join Dr. Richard Bell, professor of History at University of Maryland, and Linda Frascarella, Director of Education at League of Women Voters of Howard County for a timely and important conversation about the history of the fight for voting rights in the United States and about how to ensure your voice is heard in the upcoming federal election.  

Richard Bell is professor of history at the University of Maryland. He is the author of Stolen: Five Free Boys Kidnapped into Slavery and Their Astonishing Odyssey Home, which is a finalist for the 2020 Harriet Tubman Book Prize. He serves as a Trustee of the Maryland Historical Society and as a fellow of the Royal Historical Society.  Visit his website to learn more
