Did you know that in Howard County, pregnant women who are Latina and Black are two times more likely to get late or no prenatal care when compared to pregnant women who are White?1 

Learn about health disparities by race in Howard County with the Horizon Foundation, then enjoy presentations and conversations with local organizations working for health equity. Hear about ways to get involved for change.

This virtual event is part of the Racial Equity and Local Action series, presented by Howard County Library System and sponsored by the Horizon Foundation. We encourage registrants and others to watch the first event in the series, "Achieving Health Equity: Tools for Tools for Naming Racism and Moving to Action with Dr. Camara Phyllis Jones."
