This is an in-person class designed for adult English language learners. Improve your reading level and English language knowledge with evidence-based strategies that build your reading skills.

We read and discuss historical fiction from a wide-range of time periods and settings—everything from ancient Greece to 1970s Hollywood so far. We occasionally read other genres as well.  

After-school hang out time for teens! Come enjoy some snacks, video games, and board games!

Calling all Middle School Students! Want to enhance your public speaking skills? Practice speech and debate in a safe space to prepare for high school level competitions.

Learn the basics of composting. Composting reduces pressure on our landfills and recycles organic waste material into helpful soil supplements for gardens, container plants, and lawns.

Use the design software and equipment in the Audio-Visual Lab for all of your creative projects. Writers, filmmakers, photographers, musicians, and creators of all kinds invited!

Ages newborns-23 months with adult; 20-30 min. Free ticket required.

Newborns and toddlers learn to express feelings, language, and movement through stories, baby games, musical activities, and playtime

This class an in-person class for intermediate English language learners who wish to improve their English reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. The class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

Ages 5-10; 45 min. Registration required. 

Build listening and comprehension skills while an instructor reads a non-fiction picture book, followed by discussion and related activities.

This month's book will be The Emperor and the Endless Palace by Justinian Huang.

Learn Korean in this 12-week class, taught by Saea Oh, who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and is certified in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

This virtual class is for adult English language learners at the beginning to advanced levels. There will be separate sections for each level. Classes are on Monday and Wednesday from 7pm-9pm.
