Bring a book, take a book- or two or three! Bring your books in good condition to the Elkridge Branch to swap for a new-to-you adventure in reading.

Enjoy a fun afternoon of crafting, and stop by our lobby to make a unique beaded bracelet.

Work on your knitting projects with help at any level in this creative space. Find inspiration whether you are trading tips and tricks or getting started with the basics.

Ages 10 and up. Allow 2 hours. Ticket required. Ticket available 15 minutes before the tournament begins.

Learn the basics of composting. Composting reduces pressure on our landfills and recycles organic waste material into helpful soil supplements for gardens, container plants, and lawns.

Find the answers to gardening questions by talking with a University of Maryland Extension Master Gardener. Drop in; no registration required.

Get creative to build your own towers, 3-D shapes, and other fun challenges with Skoolzy giant straws building sets. 

Learn about the wide variety of power tools you may borrow from the library for your DIY projects. We will discuss and demonstrate applications, safe use, and accessories you may need. Participants will have the opportunity to use tools. 

Ready to pick up a new craft or de-clutter your stash? Drop by with craft supplies in good condition to share, or to pick up new-to-you supplies. You do not have to bring any supplies to participate in this event.
