Participants of this workshop are introduced to the importance of credit and what impacts it has, a brief synopsis about each credit score range and how they are viewed by lenders. It also reviews how each portion of your credit report is weighed differently, how long certain derogatory actions remain on the credit report and how to dispute inaccuracies.

This class is presented by Armand Goytia.

Armand Goytia is the Outreach Manager at CCCSMD overseeing all of our community outreach and education efforts. He is a Certified Consumer Credit, Student Loan Debt and Housing Counselor with over 25 years’ experience on credit related subjects and debt management programs and is bilingual assisting clients in English and Spanish. He has been featured on radio stations for live on-air business talk shows and financial articles in media outlets such as US News & World Report and is also a proud veteran of the US Armed Forces.
