Event Details

Ages 7 & up (7-8 year olds must be accompanied by an adult); 60 min. Registration required.

Celebrate National Chemistry Week and the 2021 Maryland STEM Festival.  Join a chemist from the Army Research Laboratory and the American Chemical Society and participate in hands-on experiments exploring the chemistry of reaction rates.

The health and safety of our customers, employees, and community remains our top priority. All customers and employees are welcome to wear masks in the library. In accordance with Maryland Department of Health recommendations, masks are required for customers ages 2 & up participating in indoor children’s classes. Masks or face coverings should completely cover the mouth, nose, and chin in accordance with guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
