On the fourth Tuesday of each month HCLS co-hosts an online roundtable focusing on a local business owned by a Person of Color in Howard County.  The owner shares the experiences and challenges they face as a local business owner. The discussion is moderated by Nat Alston, Chair and Founder of the Ujamaa Business Roundtable. Includes time for Q&A.

In partnership with Ujamaa Business Roundtable, a roundtable of African-American business owners from the counties of Howard, Montgomery, Prince George's, Baltimore and Baltimore City. 

The January Business Roundtable features Megan Pulliam, CEO of Talent Spring.

Megan Pulliam is President/CEO and cofounder of Arc Source Group, Inc. Established in Howard County in 2000 as Webworks Design, the company provided web development and design services for a range of clients, primarily in the commercial sector. In 2008, the company became ArcSource Group, expanding its offerings to Federal customers, initially in the areas of data‐driven application development and then to include program management, training and instructional design, and IT‐related support. ArcSource is a Maryland MBE, certified with the Howard County EBO, and a certified woman owned small business (WOSB). Megan is the visionary and strategic leader for ArcSource and focuses on business development,strategic planning and governance.The company currently has prime and subcontracts with both the Federal civilian and defense agencies and in 2020, launched Talent Spring®–a learning management system and knowledge base for mobile devices–that is intuitive, engaging, agile, accessible and scalable. Megan holds several certifications including PMP, ITIL Foundation,and she is a Professional Co‐Active Coach (CPCC) and Master Trainer/Facilitator. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and part of Leadership Howard County Class of 2012. In 2011, Megan established the Maryland Wilbon Pulliam Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships based on academic achievement to high school seniors in Howard County, Maryland and students at the University of Texas at Austin.
