SPARKED BY COMMUNITY ENTHUSIASM FOR THE LONGEST TABLE PROGRAM
Learn How to Host Your Own Tiny Table Conversation!
Conversations at tables big or small can spark big change. This winter, we invite community members to learn how to host their own Tiny Table Conversation—a simple, powerful way to bring 4–6 people together to explore meaningful questions with curiosity and care.
During this information session, you’ll be introduced to the work of Living Room Conversations, a national organization known for its accessible, research-informed approach to dialogue and connection. With more than 150 conversation guides on topics both big and small, their model offers a straightforward pathway for anyone who wants to strengthen understanding in their neighborhood, workplace, or community group.
This year, our Tiny Table Conversations Project will use the organization’s Curiosity Conversation—co-designed by author and curiosity expert Scott Shigeoka. Participants will learn the framework, walk through a practice round, and learn how to host their own conversation at home or at a local coffee shop!
If you’re interested in bridging across differences, building relationships in your community, or continuing the spirit of connection sparked by events like The Longest Table and Scott Shigeoka’s Author Talk, this session is for you.
This is a virtual event, registration is required. The Zoom link will me emailed to you several days before the event.
