Event Details
Join us for a hands-on adventure at a local farm! Explore the farm, get your hands dirty as we plant, and discover what it takes to get food from farm to table. You will learn about sustainability and the important role farms play in our environment and community. We will meet at Miller Library, transportation and food will be provided.
At Clark's Elioak Farm we will meet and greet all the animals, including, goats, chickens, horses, pigs, cows, and more! Learn about how to care for each farm animal and learn about the roles each one plays on the farm.
Waiver must be completed by parent or guardian. Download and email to erica.coady@hclibrary.org OR submit on day of event.
This event is the last in the Teen Sprouts Agricultural and Culinary Immersion Program. Sign up for each event individually. You do not need to participate in the entire series.
