Are you looking for a way to make a difference in your community, share your ideas, and have fun at the same time? If so, you might be interested in joining the Teen Advisory Board (TAB) at the Central Branch of the Howard County Library System (HCLS). TAB is a group of teens who meet regularly to plan and promote library events, services, and resources for young adults. As a TAB member, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Express your opinions and suggestions about the library and teen events,

  • Help create and lead programs and activities for teens,

  • Earn service hours while gaining valuable leadership and communication skills,

  • Meet new friends and have fun!!

If you are between 11 and 17 years old and want to join TAB, please fill out the registration form. You can also contact the TAB Coordinator, Ahmad Ndir, at the Central Branch for more information. TAB meetings are typically held once a month at the Central Branch. Don’t miss this chance to make your voice heard and make a positive impact on your library and community!
