Sofia Seitchik of Global Deaf Women will share her personal narratives about her journey beginning with her childhood in Russia and Uzbekistan and how she became a multitalented Deaf woman business owner and author who had travelled around the world with her family. In her inspiring and compelling stories she will describe her experiences in overcoming many adversities as a Deaf woman from a minority group. She will introduce her award-winning book "<i>The Light of Deaf Women: Inspirational Stories from Visionaries Artists Founders & Entrepreneurs.</i>" This program will be captioned and presented in American Sign Language.
