Concerned about today’s divisive politics?
In our current polarized political environment, many people avoid or dread political conversations with friends or family members whose politics differ from their own. They worry, rightly so, that any attempts at political discussions will devolve into arguments and acrimony, and result in hurt feelings or anger.
The Skills for Bridging the Divide Workshop teaches how to:
- Have respectful, non-polarizing conversations that clarify differences
- Find common ground
- Affirm the importance of the relationship(s)
The workshop also provides participants a safe environment to practice these skills in a low-stress and engaging way!
Whether you lean blue or red, conservative or liberal - or somewhere in between - this workshop is for you!
Upon registration, you'll receive the link for the online presentation several days before the event.
Presented by Braver Angels in partnership with Howard County Library System. Braver Angels is America's largest grassroots, cross-partisan organization depolarizing America. To learn more about Braver Angels, visit braverangels.org
