Learn about African American history of Howard County and beyond, through interactive discussion and hands-on activities.
The Sankofa Children's Academy is an educational program created to support the holistic development of children socially, emotionally, intellectually, and culturally. Youth participants will be able to learn in a multitude of ways to enhance confidence, self-esteem and social skills. The program is being offered by the Howard County Center of African American Culture. Class will be taught by Marcus Nicks, Curator of the Howard County Center of African American Culture.
Mask wearing is recommended.
Tickets are available at the children's desk 15 minutes before class.
