THIS IS AN INTERMEDIATE SEWING CLASS, students must have taken "Sewing Machine Basics" with HCLS, or have comprehensive sewing skills. 

Ages 11-18  |  *Registration & waiver required, walk-ins welcome while space allows, space is limited.  The waiver is on this page under "Attachments" 

*Registered students must arrive by 5pm to secure their seat, see the note below.

Become a JEAN-ius!  Create a recycled denim tote.  In this session, students will share branch sewing machines. Explore the history of denim, the science of how it’s created and the global impact this fashion favorite has on our environment. Then upcycle our reclaimed denim parts (or bring your own), into a recycled denim tote bag.

WAIVER: To take part, a parent or guardian will need to have signed the waiver attached here. If you need a print copy, please stop by the Miller library info desk.
