Oil is scarce. Using it produces pollution. Pollution brings climate change and the threat of disaster. Catan's inhabitants must decide whether the common good is worth limiting oil usage or whether the pursuit of victory is worth the risk of ruin. Play the game and explore the economics of resources, including the "tragedy of the commons".
