Learn from ambassadors at Maryland Environmental Service all about the Diamondback Terrapin, Maryland's state reptile. They hatch on Poplar Island and are raised by educators in Maryland before being released back into the Chesapeake Bay. In this presentation you will see live terrapins and learn about their care.
Students must be in at least third grade to hold a terrapin.
Tickets available 15 minutes before class.
