Event Details

Put your racing skills to the test in Glenwood’s Mario Kart 8 Nintendo Switch Tournament! Participants will compete for a prize of 1 pair of Beats Studio Buds wireless earbuds. Registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome while space lasts.

 

Rules:

  • The tournament will comprise of 3 rounds total. Each round will have 4 races. Participants will race in randomized groups of 4. (This format is subject to change depending on the number of participants.)
  • CPUs will be in each race, but will not be included in scoring
  • All items will be active for every race
  • All courses will be randomized
  • Participants will have the choice of using one or two Nintendo Joycons for their controller
  • Participants will use the Glenwood Branch's Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Joy Cons, Nintendo Switch accessories, and Mario Kart 8 game cartridge. Participants are not allowed to bring their own controllers, controller accessories, game console, or game.
  • The winner of the tournament must complete a receipt to receive their prize.
  • Participants must be between ages 11-17 years old
  • Participants must maintain a respectful atmosphere at all times
  • The facilitator may give the final say on all decisions
