In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month,  the International Grocery Store tour in October will highlight the cuisine of Mexico.

The tour will take place on Oct. 3rd. Tuesday 3-4pm. in Mercadito Express (6490 Dobbin Rd., Unite N. Columbia, MD 21045). A volunteer guide who is experienced with Mexican cuisine will lead the group to explore this authentic Latin market. Participants will receive recipes of traditional Mexican dishes and will learn what the ingredients are and where to find them in the grocery store. Registration is limited to 10.

We are seeking volunteers who are interested in sharing their cultural recipes and to lead a tour of a grocery store where the ingredients can be purchased. If you have a favored Chinese, Guatemalan, Indian, Irish, Jamaican, Jewish, Korean, Mexican, Turkish or other global recipe you would like to share and lead a tour, please contact Diane.Li@hclibrary.org or (410- 924-2226).
