Tour of International Grocery Stores - Masala Bazaar & Halal Market

Calling all foodies and cooks! Our next International Grocery Store tour will be highlighting the cuisine of India. A volunteer tour guide will lead a group of 15 participants on a tour of Masala Bazaar & Halal Market (9050 Red Branch Road, Columbia 21045) on Thursday, December 8 from 3-4pm. The tour guide will provide recipes to several Indian dishes and explain what the ingredients are and where to find them in the grocery store. Along with the tour, participants will receive a list of resources related to that culture, including history, literature, travel information and culinary traditions. We are also seeking volunteers who are interested in sharing their cultural recipes and to lead a tour of a grocery store where the ingredients can be purchased.
