Everything human-made is designed... Whether it's designed well or not is a different question.

If you are starting a business/nonprofit or reexamining your career, you might feel like you're at the whims of mysterious forces outside your control. But it's all just people. And you can learn about people.

  • Learn what the design thinking process (aka human-centered design) is, and...
  • How you can start practicing it in low-effort, high-impact ways

Design thinking is a mindset shift and practical toolkit to claim control over our collective future. Join this interactive 2hr virtual workshop for a taste of what design thinking looks like and how you might use it to improve your life and your community. If you like it, you may want to check out the four-part in-person series to follow.

Facilitator: Vance MacEwen, MA, MBA - Entrepreneur in Residence at the Maryland Innovation Center (MIC) and co-founder CEO of Greatest Possible Good, a design thinking firm for social good.

Presented in partnership byThe Maryland Innovation Center and Howard County Public Library System, free of charge to the community.
