Program Description

Event Details

A rain barrel can help reduce stormwater pollution and conserve treated tap water. Once installed, rain barrels collect and store runoff from roof downspouts. This water can then be reused for lawns and gardens, reducing the use of potable water. Learn how to install a rain barrel on your downspout from the Howard County Stormwater Management division and Master Gardeners/Master Watershed Stewards of Howard County.
