Due to an unexpected power outage at the HCLS Miller Branch, we’ve had to cancel today’s Kwanzaa celebration. We’re sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Join us for a joyful Kwanzaa celebration honoring African heritage, creativity, and community. This family-friendly gathering features hands-on crafts, reflective art activities, engaging workshops, and a cultural tasting inspired by the seven principles of Kwanzaa.

Event Highlights:
• Opening candle-lighting & brief Kwanzaa presentation
• Mindful movement and mirror-based reflection art
• "Ancestral power & Decolonization" mini-workshop
• African fabric stamping and creative take-home art
• Cultural tasting inspired by First Fruits traditions
• Music, introductions, and community sharing

Light refreshments provided.

Registration is preferred to help us plan materials and food, but walk-ins are warmly welcomed. Feel free to drop in anytime during the event and stay as long as you like.
