Event Details

Please join us for this new quarterly series wherein we will watch films about humans, since all great stories involve great characters, and then we'll discuss them with our fellow humans.

We meet on every fifth Thursday (approximately every three months) at the Elkridge Branch.

The movies are available on DVD from the library collection or via Kanopy streaming service.  You can watch the movie at the library with us on May 30, or watch it on your own in advance and then attend the discussion (that will take place after the screening) with your fellow humans, facilitated by library instructors.

May 30: Past Lives

"Celine Song’s film debut, starring Greta Lee, follows two childhood friends who share a wistful kind of love across two decades and two continents."

This session is part of HCLS' AAPI Month series. Please click here for the complete schedule of classes and events.
