Celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the March on Washington!

Watch the documentary “Meet Me at Equality: The People’s March on Washington” by Dr. James Rada. This documentary explores the history of the Civil Rights Movement and the struggle for equality. Through personal interviews and historical footage, the film features the courageous actions of historians and elders who were activists who fought for equal rights and attended the famous March on Washington.

Following the screening, there will be a thought-provoking discussion to learn more about the challenges and triumphs of those who continue to work to create a more inclusive and equitable community nationwide. This event promises to be enlightening and educational! Join us as we learn about the history of Civil Rights, and discuss ways to continue the work in our own community.
