Lights On Lights Off! Ever wonder what happens behind the scenes when you flip a light switch on the wall or press the ON button of a battery-powered fan in the summer? Why do some toys need AAA batteries to operate while other toys need C batteries? Discover the math and science principles used by Electrical Engineers as you work to build simple circuits to power various devices. Register once for all four days. Registration required. Grades 6-12. Classes this week take place four days only Monday - Thursday so HiTech instructors can prepare for the HiTech Carnival. Join us for the HiTech Carnival on Saturday August 10 from 9 am - 1 pm at the East Columbia Branch.
