Looking to connect with nature? Learn how to identify wild edible plants with us!

We’ll discuss the guidelines of safe and respectful foraging practices, along with basic plant morphology concepts to help with plant identification.

Then, weather permitting, we will practice identifying plants in the "wild" on a walk to the Lakefront and back! This will be on a wide, smoothly paved path with a steep downward incline in the first half.

The walk will be limited to 15 attendees, for which registration is required. Registration is not required to attend the presentation portion of the class.

Please note: this class will not address mushrooms or other fungi.
