Learn to address the four points of Integrated Pest Management for deer – Population Control, Vegetation Control, Repellents and Fencing. The first segment talks about techniques our government (and others) have tried to control deer population growth. The second addresses what plants deer and other critters such as woodchucks, rabbits, squirrels and voles (generally!) do and do not like, so you can avoid planning critter buffet. The third, repellents, discusses chemical and physical repellents, including large dogs. Finally, fencing addresses a number of types of fences, both electrified and non-electrified.
In partnership with Howard County Master Gardeners.
