Join us for an engaging fireside chat with New York Times best-selling author, Dr. Robin DiAngelo, whose groundbreaking book, White Fragility-Why It's So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism, has sold more than five million copies, been translated into 13 languages and continues to spark dialogue nationwide. Dr. DiAngelo will read from her works, join a facilitated discussion and answer audience questions.
In 2011, Dr. DiAngelo coined the term, "White Fragility" in an academic journal and it ignited an international discourse about race amongst her colleagues. This became the foundation for her book of the same name, released in 2018. She then followed it in 2021 with the release of Nice Racism-How Progressive White People Perpetuate Racial Harm. In addition to her influential writings, Dr. DiAngelo is also known for her longstanding work facilitating anti-racism learning.
