Making Howard County Streams & Lakes More Child Safe and Friendly

Do you remember playing in local streams and lakes every summer as a child? Finding tadpoles or small fish? Interested in finding out how easy it would be to help mitigate harmful runoff from entering our local streams and lakes? Join Richard Klein, who led the Save Our Streams program at the DNR for many years, and Brian England, whose business BA Auto Care is funding the Lake Elkhorn Stream & Lake Restoration Alliance, for a discussion on how to improve our neighborhood waterways through action and engaging your local elected officials. Healthy streams are the backbone of a healthy environment.
