Please join us for this new quarterly series wherein we will watch films about humans, since all great stories involve great characters, and then we'll discuss them with our fellow humans.

We meet on every fifth Thursday (approximately every three months) at the Elkridge Branch.

The movies are available on DVD from the library collection or via Kanopy streaming service.  You can watch the movie at the library with us on Aug 29, or watch it on your own in advance and then attend the discussion (that will take place after the screening) with your fellow humans, facilitated by library instructors.

Aug 29: The Monk and the Gun

"A droll political satire set in the year 2006 as the Kingdom of Bhutan transitions towards becoming the world’s youngest democracy."
