Master Gardeners and Recycling Coordinators discuss and demonstrate composting on a drop-in basis, teaching about:
- Composting kitchen scraps and yard trimmings in your backyard or using the Feed the Green Bin (for Howard County residents only)
- Troubleshooting or advising for maintaining your home backyard composting efforts or participating in the GreenBin compost collection program
- Improving your soil’s health by incorporating compost
- The impact of composting on climate
