Ready to learn how to save a life? Learn the basics of Stop the Bleed from the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services. As a student, you’ll get hands on practice on how to apply pressure, pack wounds, utilize a tourniquet, and recognize life-threatening bleeding! By the end of the class, you’ll walk away with the confidence to provide help in the case of severe bleeding until first responders arrive.
Ages 14-17 with parent/guardian, 18+ adults welcome, registration required.
