The Soundtrack of Our Lives: American Women in World War II Registration required. Ages 18+. Learn about music's depiction of the many roles for women on the home front and in the military. Themes include mothers sweethearts pin-ups nurses and Rosie-the Riveters as well as WAVS WAVES SPARS and Lady Marines. Presented by Hugo Keesing University of Maryland Retired Professor.
