Author Works: Parini Shroff -The Bandit Queens

Parini Shroff is in conversation with Faye McCray about her debut novel The Bandit Queen in this special virtual author event!

Parini Shroff received her MFA from the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied under Elizabeth McCracken, Alexander Chee, and Cristina García. She is a practicing attorney and currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Bandit Queens is her debut novel.

Faye McCray is an author, playwright, and journalist whose work has been featured in the HuffPost, Parade Magazine, Little Patuxent Review, AARP Magazine, Madame Noire, Black Girl Nerds, and other popular publications. Faye transitioned to journalism after working for over a decade as a health care attorney. She currently leads health equity and social impact strategy for the number one health media organization. Faye is a proud board member of the Howard County Poetry and Literature Society and Hopeworks. She is based in the Washington, D.C. metro area where she resides with her husband and sons.
